The conference is organized by the University of Vienna and will take place at its campus, located at Spitalgasse 2, 1090 Vienna. The campus is built on parts of the grounds of the former General Hospital Vienna (altes allgemeines Krankenhaus Wien, altes AKH), a historic site that now houses various departments of the University and serves as a vibrant hub for academic and cultural activities.
All talks will take place in the Hörsaal C1 lecture hall and Hörsaal C2 lecture hall.
Note: The building is located between Court 2 (Hof 2) and Court 7 (Hof 7), but entry is only possible from Court 2 (Hof 2) — see the map below.
The easiest access to Court 2 is from Court 4 (Hof 4) and Court 1 (Hof 1).

WLAN
The university’s Wi-Fi is eduroam, and is available in all university buildings. If you have issues connecting to eduroam or are not affiliated with an eduroam participating institution, each participant is provided with their personal WLAN access. The login information can be found in the name tag, on a separate piece of paper.
Gastronomy around the campus
There are plenty of restaurants around the campus. Within the campus itself, there are four restaurants and a supermarket (Billa) in Court 1 (Hof 1).

Solo Pizza e Birra

The Old Chapel (Alte Kapelle)
If you need a place to work or discuss with colleagues, there are seating areas scattered within the main building. Alternatively, you can use the Old Chapel (Alte Kapelle), the former hospital chapel. Unfortunately, the old chapel is not wheelchair-accessible. The room is located on the 1st floor and can only be reached via a staircase.
The entrance to the old chapel can be found in the passageway between the first and second court.
* The Old Chapel is not available on Monday, 28 July, 13:40 – 14:20.
Accommodation
The conference participants are responsible for their own accommodation. We encourage you to find accommodation as soon as possible due to the peak tourist season. There are plenty of hotels and other types of accommodation around the campus, and public transportation in Vienna is very reliable.
In addition, after registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link through which you can optionally book one of the several recommended hotels at preferential rates. These range from €87 to €139 per night, including breakfast.
Beware of scams: some participants have been contacted by scammers posing as travel agents. We advise not to respond to such emails.
